Anatomy 1, Units 5-6, Game 5C

Face Workshop

Contract the muscles of the face and jaw to make expressions and move the mandible, and learn each muscle by what it does.

Section 5.4: Muscles of Facial Expression and Mastication

Objective: Identify the muscles of facial expression and mastication and state their attachments and actions. (5.4)

How to play

  1. Pick muscles from the drawer or tap them on the face. A contracting muscle pulls its insertion toward its origin.
  2. Use the Skin button to fade the skin and see the muscles, or bring it back to see only the expression.
  3. Make this face, Chew, and Which nerve are scored. Every miss comes back with the right answer and the reason.
  4. Everything works by keyboard: Tab to the drawer, Space to check a muscle, Enter to press a button.
