    Best on iPhone: motion, dragging, and Cardboard all work. Use a 360° video saved on your device, or a direct link to one.

    From YouTube

    Looking around may not work on iPhone, because YouTube's player there doesn't allow it. It works on most Android phones and computers.

    In the YouTube app, tap Share → Copy link, then come back and tap Paste. Any YouTube link works; it doesn't need to look like this page's address.

    • Use a 360° video. Regular videos play, but there's nothing to look around at.
    • On iPhone, tap Allow when asked about motion, then move your phone to look around.
    • For Cardboard, turn the phone sideways before tapping Cardboard. Tapping the screen (or the viewer's button) plays and pauses.
    • Cardboard plays two copies of the video side by side, one for each eye, so it uses more data.
    • No motion sensor (like a laptop)? Drag to look around.
